Over 30 years ago, when exploring the breathtaking coastline of the South Shore, we fell in love with this simple, solid and charming cottage. It is our joy to share this hidden gem with you during your stay.

The house is full of rustic joys and includes original flooring and wainscoting from its construction in 1890. The house does not include wi-fi or cable (but international phone plans work well here) and does include the following amenities:

The barn and pig sty across the dirt road on the property are no longer used for animals, but are open for exploring! This is the only original barn left standing in East Berlin, Nova Scotia.
